Preferences for "top" of top or "top" of backing should be marked with a pinned note to the appropriate place on the quilt.
Additional charges may be incurred if the following are not completed by customer:
backing (if provided) should be 8" longer and wider than top
backing (if provided) should be washed, squared, and ironed
Top should be squared and seams ironed
Threads should be clipped
Payment is due in full when quilt is picked up, or prior to shipment. A $25 late charge will be added if not paid within 15 days, and after 30 days the item will be considered abandoned and sold for losses or donated to charity.
A minimum deposit is required on all custom quilting.
By signing, I approve This Chick Quilts to perform quilting services and provide services as listed above. I give permission for photographs of the quilt to be used for promotional purposes. If this quilt is entered into any shows, I will credit This Chick Quilts for the quilting and will notify them of any rewards received via email at info@lifeintherockhouse.com. I understand that machine quilting will not "fix" fullness, puckering, poor sewing, inadequate seam allowances, improperly measured borders, or the squareness of the quilt. I also understand that the services being performed are considered handmade and even though every effort will be taken to provide the best quality, natural blemishes and imperfections are expected.
